East Hampton Residence

A sanctuary from the city, the landscape of multiple garden “rooms” creates a sense of calm and provides opportunities for colorful flowers, recreation around the pool, and an open space for entertaining. The scope of work included new bluestone paving around the pool edge, new arbors for dining and for entrances into the formal gardens, and new plantings.

A new rose garden creates an edge between the open lawn and the pool gardens. Between the pool gardens and the lawn areas, a buffer of trees and grasses creates a transition between the native swamp oaks and the more formal gardens.
